This interactive webplatform gathers ongoing research by design in three European metropolitan regions. The goal of this inter university e-studio is to explore circular urban metabolism and resilient ecosystem design. In 2017, e-studio focus on three medium size industrial town in transition : Vilvoorde (Belgium), Venice Porto Marghera (Italy) and Tarragona (Spain).  The hypothesis is that these medium size towns located near large metropolitan centers (Brussels, Veneto, Barcelona) are places of socio-economic and spatial innovations.
